Company Development Advisor - Actively promoted CITB courses and services,visiting employers to complete Training Needs Analysis, discuss skills gaps, training and promoting the uptake of apprentices. Providing an Advisory Service to around 2500 employers in Yorkshire & Humber area.Working and networking with Colleges, Training Providers and various Stakeholders to promote training and development and accessing various funding streams to help employers in the Construction sector.Sfedi accredited Business Advisor.I proactively work and link with several training groups in the area, North Yorkshire Training Group, South Yorkshire Training Group, CECA and Humber Training Group to promote training with their members. I have organised and promoted Employer Forums, Employer Business Development workshops and given presentations at these events. I have invited and organised guest speakers to attend these events.I recently have promoted ESF and SSW Funding to employers and proactively delivered on sales and apprentice starts. Every year exceeded my targets set by line Managers.

I effectively lead and managed a team of 11 OSAT co-ordinators to successfully achieve setting up specialist assessment centres and exceed NVQ achievements for experienced workers.I effectively communicated and networked with Learning and Skills Councils and brokerage services to secure funding and pass on employers and employees to local and national providers to complete NVQ's through OSAT.Attended various meetings and gave presentations on NVQ's, OSAT,EWPA, CSCS, CPCS and other card schemes to housing groups and major contractors to help them gain a fully qualified and carded workforce.Put in place strategies to raise awareness of OSAT and to help reach 46,000 NVQ achievements for experience workers.Developed procedure to link candidates and employers with "Train to Gain" funding and allow Co-ordinators to pass on candidates to local and national providers for OSAT and EWPA.Attended national meetings to promote CSCS/CPCS card schemes and gave presentations to groups on OSAT and achieving a fully qualified workforce.

I pioneered the mythology of the OSAT process to help qualify and card experienced operatives in the Construction and specialist sector.I stimulated employers interest in the uptake of card systems such as CSCS, CPCS and provided information and guidance on how to get employees qualified. I gave CITB and funding advice to employers to provide a cost effective process to achieve qualifications and cards so employees could continue to work and access sites. Worked with awarding bodies to change assessor criteria to allow specialist assessors and assessment centres to set up and meet demand of NVQ and carded workforce.Developed assessor and Internal verifier packs - to assist in employers setting up as specialist centres.Worked and collaborated with External Verifiers to set up assessment centres and acted as Internal Verifier until assessment centre was approved and up and running.Identified with employers suitable qualified and experienced staff to train as Construction assessors and Internal Verifiers to meet the demand of workers requiring NVQ's.Worked and networked with colleges, training providers and stakeholders to promote qualifying the workforce and to access different funding streams.Exceeded all my targets given throughout this period as OSAT co-ordinator.

Setting up New Assessment NVQ centres and acting as the Internal Verifier, until centre had developed their own staff in IV role. Developed Setting up Assessment centre pack as well as developing Assessor and IV documentation packs to speed up approval process by External Verifiers. Working with External Verifiers to promote On - Site - Assessment Centres.
