As the Product Manager, my job is to work with the business and product teams to help improve product KPIs. This includes areas such as user acquisition, short and long term retention, re-engagement, user experience, and monetization. I accomplish this using data analytics as well as user experiments.

As a Data Analyst, my role is to use data to derive insights that can drive business decisions. This includes gathering data from customers, external sources, and internal databases. I then clean, organize, and analyze the data to provide decision makers in the business development department with actionable business intelligence. Highlights:- Designed & analyzed the company’s first player demographics & motivations survey.- Created an interactive revenue projection tool for funding / investment applications.- Reported on product KPIs and user behavior to inform the product team for upcoming event releases.- Performed market research and UA test campaigns on expansion into new geographies in East Asia.- Became ad-hoc project manager for the successful launch of a region-specific beta.

As a TVA, my job involved supporting the crew during filming. I have worked on live sporting events, award shows, music festivals, commercial shoots, and pre-taped studio productions like Dragon’s Den. My responsibilities include: helping to prepare event spaces, transporting and testing equipment, supporting the camera, audio, lighting, and staging teams, liaising between departments and carrying out the instructions of the technical producer.

As an editor, my job involved working with a writer or producer to translate a script into a visual story under tight deadlines.Highlights:- Worked with a cross-departmental team in a dynamic production process. Never missed a deadline.- Delivered products to meet the needs of a variety of departments & stakeholders.- Products included news stories, monitor wall video, voice over, highlight reels, preview/promo, etc.- Within two months of starting, was moved up to CBC’s flagship news show, The National.

As a technical director, my job involved the planning and execution of the live broadcast of the Canadian Improv Games. Together with the producer and director, I helped build the A/V setup of the venue based on diagrams of the event space and the availability of equipment. I supervised the preparation of the cameras, microphones, and lights for a theater venue. During the show, I worked alongside the director to deliver the broadcast by live-switching the recorded audio-visual inputs from the cameras and microphones.

As a teaching assistant in the Faculty of Mathematics, I was responsible for leading a one-hour tutorial for linear algebra students. I also hosted office hours to provide students with extra help outside of class time. My responsibilities also included proctoring tests, grading papers, and delivering results for evaluation by my supervising professor via an online platform.

As vice president - external, I was responsible for booking travel and accommodations for our debate teams across Ontario and Quebec, collecting invoices and arranging reimbursement through the club’s treasurer. I was also responsible for arranging accommodations for visiting debate teams when they competed at the tournaments hosted by the club.
