I am currently director of the CPDG Limited a company dedicated to providing bespoke Auricular acupuncture, CPD, first aid, and safeguarding training within the health care, construction and educational sectors. I have professional experience in teaching in healthcare for over 25 years, including; Auricular acupuncture, safeguarding, health and safety, first aid, practitioner Development and Research at undergraduate level within Universities and private colleges and within the corporate and private sectors. I spent over 10 years involved in the regulation of acupuncture in the UK, and through this process set up and wrote the majority of the documentation for the MACRWG, the (Microsystems Acupuncture Regulatory Working Group). This 1/3 of the acupuncture profession in the UK is now regulated by the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council, (CNHC). I worked front line in the NHS for the mental health directorate in Kent and Medway running a team of acupuncturists.
