Every aspect of our patient care is tailored to the individual patient’s needs. We specialize in sports injuries and more specifically tendonitis types of cases like Tennis Elbow and Plantar fasciitis. With Dr. Bowen’s extensive training in Active Release Techniques (ART), he is able to give a more rounded chiropractic approach to care and treat neuromusculoskeletal conditions more effectively. He began studying ART in 2012 and has achieved certifications in Lower Extremity, Upper Extremity, Spine and Nerve Entrapment. He has been selected to be a member of the Active Release Techniques Elite Provider Network. Dr. Bowen and Dr. Yost are the only ART elite provider Chiropractors in the Cincinnati area. Dr. Bowen continues to stay current with the most up to date medical and chiropractic research available thus giving him the tools necessary to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal and soft tissue ailments. Dr. Bowen uses a team-like approach with his patients by educating them on their particular condition and giving them homework to accelerating the rehabilitation process.Dr. Richard Yost is the clinic director at Norwood Chiropractic & Sports Injury Center. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2006. He is a board-certified chiropractor with additional certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART), Active Rehabilitation, Motion Palpation Motion Palpation Institute and Graston Technique. Dr. Yost has tested into the Elite Provider Network for Active Release Techniques, which makes up a small percentage of the most qualified Active Release Techniques practitioners in the world.
