Key Areas of Responsibility• Ensure that Effective Regulatory policies are in operation across the business and across all channels.• Liaise with regulatory operational teams and other key stakeholders across the group, including those in the International Territories as well as the UK.• Assessing the effectiveness of regulatory policies and procedures.• Measuring the quality of training material and delivery of training• Working with the Regulatory Affairs Directors, for AML, Player Protection and Data Management, identifying High risk regulatory business areas and developing KPI performance measurement reporting processes with operational delivery owners• Designing and implementing and maintaining a regulatory risk audit programme• Identifying training needs and making recommendations to business owners as appropriate• Testing regulatory risk reduction and prevention procedures directly and through indirect evidence gathering

Key Responsibilities:• Maintain a corporate regulatory reporting structure and compliance monitoring programme. • Corporately manage regulatory risk in new and existing international territories both at delivery stage and as an ongoing operation• Work with territory managers to develop risk management processes that reduce the likelihood of non-compliance with the local gambling regulation and breach of licence conditions• Ensure adequate processes are in place to meet local regulatory administration requirements, including technical reports and certification, licence maintenance and breach reporting• Develop support training and awareness programmes that provide staff with adequate knowledge regarding their role, and the company’s, in relation to local regulatory requirements. • Ensure appropriate levels of relationship management with national regulators and regional authorities are maintained and support local consultations, future regulation development and industry relationships with the local regulators and law enforcement• Monitor compliance with social responsibility requirements and check compliance with company corporate policies as well as local regulatory requirements• Work with the information security & compliance, aml and fraud teams regarding regulatory reporting and risk management policy requirements, including the investigation and reporting of suspected regulatory breaches and criminal offences. • Ensure local advertising and promotions are compliant with local codes and licence conditions• Coordinate cross business activity and provide cost effective solutions to common issues.• Verify that terms and conditions are clear and comply with local regulatory requirements• Ensure that each territory has and operates a clear and transparent ADR policy to promote fairness and transparency for customers.

Role in Madrid was working with our JV partners under the Sportium brand. My role was to aid in several key areas of development including, product and liaising with marketing to offer bespoke markets for the Spanish customer base. In addition, this also involved the continued development of our SSBT offering to ensure that Sportium retains its market leader position in Spain and to aid the expansion of Sportium to the various autonomous communities as they regulate.
