I have been a heat transfer and fluid management engineer for the past 15 years after serving an advanced modern apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (Alfa Laval).I moved to Clean Power Technologies ltd working towards R&D automotive hybrid fuel technology with good knowledge in thermo dynamics and mechanical structures. I was senior design engineer using Unigraphics NX 2D-3D CAD and PLC systems.After graduating I furthered my career as a Product Design Engineer in fluid handling for HMD Pumps magnetic drive technology. I worked on R&D products in the UK and China and was largely involved with improving existing designs, re-designs using new technology reducing cost all through departments and after 4 years I became a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.After 4 years at HMD I secured a position at Clean Thermodynamic Energy Conversion as Chief Engineer on a ground-breaking waste to energy project from the combustion of residual waste. I was tasked with complete system R&D and design, reporting to the companies managing director who I worked closely alongside delivering presentation to obtain government and privet investment. I have extensive knowledge and experience in 3D modelling, drafting schemes, rapid prototyping and production cost savings with good quality control experience. I pride myself in methodical critical thinking in the context of problem solving to develop innovative design solution towards products and processes.
