- Managed a grant portfolio of over $3 million supporting civil society organizations in Asia promoting freedom of speech, independent media, human rights, and democratic governance.- Managed program development for the Asia regional portfolio by identifying new organizations and working with potential grantees on program design and strategy – work that has resulted in six new grantees in the first 18 months.- Analyzed new proposals, streamlined team reviews, and synthesized internal deliberations for recommended projects.- Authored project impact assessments, portfolio strategy summaries, issue memos, and country profiles for NED leadership.

- Managed all aspects of CIMA’s regional media development consultations in Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa, and provided primary support for similar work in Latin America and Southeastern Europe.- Secured over $350,000 in NED funding for the regional consultations, and led on partnerships, budget management, event planning and logistics, and follow-up engagement with local partners, media development organizations, and donors.- Managed CIMA’s annual discretionary budget of over $200,000, and oversaw the Center’s financial processes, including procurement and contract management, as well as the development of partnership agreements with external institutions.- Researched and wrote on media policy and reform, multi-stakeholder processes, and political issues relevant to media development in emerging democracies (See links below in profile).

- Managed a 3-year, $300,000 private foundation-funded US-Japan municipal partnership program involving 22 American and Japanese cities focusing on joint green energy and sustainable urban development initiatives- Assisted in business development and fundraising by conducting research and writing grant narratives and budget proposals, including for SCI’s annual public-private partnership core funding through the US Department of State- Conducted strategic outreach to foster new partnerships between US cities and cities in Asia, including regular communication with the state department, foreign embassies, municipal governments and civil society

- Coordinated a European Union-funded study abroad scholarship program by developing examination materials, interviewing applicants and advising faculty and staff- Ensured quality control of official forms, contracts, and other English language materials
