Extention to existing Bio Gas plants in Chittering and Mepal. Working as Site Manger for the Principle Contractor I am responsable for all aspects of the build. I also enforce all issues required by the HSE for these projects inc Site Inductions, Weekly Site Meetings and Daily reports for our Client and Project team.

Installation of new high pressure steam system at a new waste to energy plant on the old Drakelowe power station site.

Fabrication / installation of all new pipework, instrumentation and bracketing for a new boiler house upgrade. Working to JTL's permit to work system and all their safety proceedures. After installation the whole system required testing and flushing before handover.

Fabrication / Installation of new water lines on British Steel in Scunthorpe. Flow and return to 3 tanks for a demin system in 250mm stainless steel & a 150mm carbon steel line for to new fire hydrants. Work also inc all support bracketing and organising the painting and insullation of completed lines.

THIS IS A NEW BUILD PROJECT (LARGERST IN EUROPE) AND WE ARE UNDERTAKING THE FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF ALL PIPEWORK, PRESSURE VESSELS, ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT AND INSTRUMENTATION IN BOTH STAINLESS AND PLASTIC.SINCE STARTING THE PROJECT WHICH WAS A INITIAL 9 MONTHS WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO TENDER AND WON MORE SYSTEMS NEW TO THE SCOPE, WHICH ALONG SIDE MY PROJECT MANAGER I HELP TO BUT THE TENDERS TOGETHER. I AM ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ASPECTS OF SAFETY INC: - SITE INDUCTIONS, RAMS, TOOL BOX TALKS AND SITE SAFETY AUDITS.

WAS WORKING ON SITE AT CRISTAL IN STALLINGBOURGH IN THE CAPACITY OF THE SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR, LOOKING AFTER ALL PRESENT JOBS AND PRICING NEW TENDERS. PRIOR TO THIS I WAS MANAGING THE WORKSHOP IN THE ABSENCE OF OUR MANAGER. THIS ENTAILED LOOKING AFTER THE PIPEFITTERS, WELDERS,PLATERS, GRADE 3 AND APPRNTICES, ISSUING WORK PACKS, ORDERERING COMSUMIBLES, INSURING CORRECT RENUMERATION AND DEALING WITH ALL CLIENTS AS REQUIRED.BEFORE THIS I OVERSAW THE PRE-SHUTDOWN WORK BEFORE TRANSFERING TO SITE AT LYNSEY OIL REFINARY.HERE I WAS UTERLISED AS THE PIPEWORK SUPERINTENDENT SETTING UP ALL THE WORK PACKS FROM LORs TRANSMITALS, INDENTIFING ALL JOBS AND WHEN THE SHUTDOWN STARTED ORGANISING THE WORK FOR MY 3 SUPERVISORS AND THE 40 MEN UNDER THEM.
