A city kid transplanted to rural Brant Township near Saginaw, I was fascinated with the woods-walk flora. Striking … but ephemeral. I reasoned that I could find a way to hold the moments. Years of trial and error taught me that every petal of every bloom had its preservation challenges. Experimentation led to deconstruction and reconstruction. Now I have freed the resulting compositions from my garage studio to share. I invite you to check out 11 of my recent pieces at the Northwood Gallery on Main Street in beautiful downtown Midland.
