Job Summary:My role is to support the development and implementation of new data acquisition, cleaning, storage, and visualization solutions for Nissan North America (NNA) manufacturing data. I work with members of departments across several departments at Nissan's Canton, MS and Smyrna, TN plants to collect feedback and propose countermeasures to ensure they maximize their data.Primary Responsibilities:-Analyze the data collection and storage format of each department/shop in NNA Smyrna and Canton. Propose and implement changes to these processes that allow for ingestion into centralized databases and use of visualization software. --Successfully advocated for implementation of Tableau as primary visualization tool for Nissan data analysis. --Assisted in managing and implementing changes to data formatting that allowed for consistent tracking of key data categories across Nissan's new model production trials. -Communicate with end users in different departments, along with senior management, to collect feedback on Tableau dashboards and elaborate on future development strategy. --Hosted a series of meetings with departments across Canton and Smyrna manufacturing plants to pitch new system and mark launch of the first release of new visualization tools.
