My role focuses on the following areas;- Employee relations including; employee motivation, communication, work life balance and general well being - Ensuring strict KPIs are managed and met in all Engineering areas- Time Management including; sickness absence, contract and annual leave management- Direct line management of field technicians including awarding of bonuses for 3I suggestions and disciplinary procedures if applicable- Training and Development including; skill gap analysis and resolution to meet business, customer and individual requirements for both technical and soft skill capabilities.- EHS including; responsible for the execution of a Zero Harm culture within my team to drive down accidents and lost time occurrence as well as driving up near miss reporting and best practice.- Project management and planning including; contributing to the successful mobilisation of Field Service Engineers by resource identification & selection, travel logistics and visa requirements. Including highlighting any operational conflicts and contributing to the resolution of these where possible or escalating queries in a timely manner to minimise the potential for Customer impact.Projects - Project lead on full site brief and debrief process for field technicians deployed on global delegations to ensure that all relevant legal and health and safety matters were addressed- Involved in complete review of Siemens tax policies inline with HMRC guidelines and suggestions to remain compliant.- Involved in the implementation of a new expenses policy, included the change of rules and regulations governing claiming and the involvement of the HMRC to confirm our legal compliance.- Project Lead on Site Report Writing involving Field Staff, Marketing, Mods and Ups, Engineering and also existing customers to ensure a positive outcome in regards to future planning of outages and services.

•Involved in the procurement of essential spares and parts for Breakdowns, Urgents and scheduled maintenance on various turbines worldwide. •Using existing knowledge and SAP to ensure that all parts are usable in there various states with existing Engineering methods to ensure a quick turnaround in requests from Siemens subsidiaries and external existing contracts.•Dealing with customers to satisfy a need for either preventative maintenance or schedule services on Siemens complete SGT range.•Use of Engineering drawings and existing parts manuals to ensure the correct parts are installed on the correct turbines across the whole Siemens gas turbine range.

•Provide instruction and guidance to the Line Managers on the policy, top-level organization and arrangements by which the Ministry of Defence ensures the maintenance of acceptable standards of health and safety (H&S) in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 etc. throughout the organization.•Adhering and improving processes involved in MOD legislation in regard to Health and Safety.•Positively influencing the Health and Safety culture between top level management and peers to enable a safe working environment.•Design and implementation of fresh Safe Systems of Work to ensure adherence to Health and Safety Law in the UK.

•Delivery of courses created and tested within the section to civilian and military members of the MOD.•Management of all personnel's authorizations for jobs and ensuring that any outstanding qualifications are re-trained to the required standards.•The liaising with staff members and upper management and external companies in the procurement of courses to fit the need of the customer up to a budget of £600,000.•Management of administration to ensure that external courses are attended and that with feedback the courses are improved upon.•Continual improvement and revision of existing course to adapt to any work related changes.
