Solely responsible for the delivery, organising, teaching/training and Instructing of the following courses to ITSSAR standards onsite; B1 and B2 Counterbalance Forklift Trucks (Novice and Refresher), Pole Attachments, A5 Pedestrian Pallet Stacker Truck, A7 Pedestrian Reach Truck, H1 Towing Tractor and Trailer, 3A and 3B Mobile Elevated Working Platform, Overhead Gantry Crane including Slinger Banksman, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling, Safe Use of Ladders (including Work at Heights Regulations), Fire Marshall, Fire Safety. Responsible for the booking and delivery of all of the above courses for over 80+ Employees onsite, most of whom are on shifts, therefore imperative understanding of Calendar booking and Shift patterns a must for upcoming Employee's Training, tie this in with very sufficient admin skills which are extremely important to this role including working on expiry dates of courses to comply with legislation, the upkeep of records, the filling of paperwork for each Employee including Theory, Practical and Training session feedback to ensure that regulations, legislations, ACOPS and most importantly the law are in place and are of standards to protect the business and the Trainee.

Being the key point of contact for different areas of the business, including managers and staff, contractors and subcontractors, general public and anyone else with an interest in the premises.Accountability for general operational issues which cause an impact to the safety or the work of individuals, such as broken equipment, leaking roof, etc. Provision and monitoring of cleaning services.Participation in the monitoring of business continuity plans, such as unexpected events which cause the business to be unable to function on a temporary basis.Supporting with requirements stemming from business changes, such as the inception of a new department or service. This may involve allocating space, equipment, etc and making considerations around safety and efficiency, etc.General problem solving and damage limitation.

Managing of the Operational Logistics team (14 in total), of the entire plant, ensuring 100% material availability to support Production and Operational demands.Responsible for receiving of raw materials and throughout of factory to dispatching of finished product, ensuring no downtime working on a 24/7 model via planning of holiday/sickness cover.Liasing with transport and customers via scheduled and self-penned dispatch plans. 100% DOT success rate over a 2 year timespan on an hourly timeslot basis as received by the customer.Organising and resourcing projects of 5S implementation through Logistics Department.Leasing with suppliers/3rd parties to ensure JIT delivery of raw materials.Minimising of all holding stock onsite.Sage and SAP strengths as used daily.Currently studying Level 5 Professional Diploma from Charted Institute of Logistics and Transport.
