I have worked my way up from the bottom at GKN, i started off as a contractor, was taken on and soon was promoted to the role of team leader within one of the factory cells.While here, I have learnt a great deal about work flow, 5S, Kaizen events, lean manufacturing, PPS, use of 3C problem solving. I have experience In speaking in front of people of all levels in the business. Away from work I am a fully qualified spiritual counsellor and a member of the CMA. I am an NLP business practitioner, currently looking to upscale my skill set by becoming a master business practitioner and a coach.

    Here i do maintence of 16 tenpin bowling machines and look after a team of junior engineers, which means making a training matrix for them and cross training so all aspects of the job is covered at all times. Customer relations is also very important as we have bowling leagues, and in order to attract more of the same customers we have to make sure our machines are working to the fullest of their capabilites.
