Mr. Cravens has over 37 years of professional experience in the fields of environmental, geotechnical, and civil engineering as well as project/program management, training, and facilities operations. As an environmental engineer, he has conducted investigations, designed remediations, and overseen the cleanup of highly complex contaminated sites, conducted due diligence assessments for multi-million dollar acquisitions, provided environmental compliance services to nuclear and fossil power plants, and provided expert witness services. His focus has been the integration of complex environmental projects addressing the requirements of a variety of regulatory programs, ranging from RCRA to CERCLA to state & local government laws and regulations.As a civil engineer and facilities operations manager with UT System, Mr. Cravens capstone project was leading the feasibility study, conceptualization, early programming, business plan development, and capital funding request for the new UT System Headquarters Building in downtown Austin. After funding approval he served as owners representative, building committee chair, design/construction team member, subject matter expert, facilities owner, et. al. for the design, construction, commissioning, and move-in phases.As a geotechnical engineer, Mr. Cravens completed over 300 engineering investigations for projects ranging from high rise buildings, airport runways, landfills, and commercial & residential developments. He served as both expert and fact witness in legal proceedings. He managed the technical, business, and marketing sides in multiple offices in Texas.
