We held a variety of events, workshops and seminars to add ‘member value’, and our flagship event was our biennial ‘Packaging Design Awards’ programme, culminating in a gala dinner which was a highlight event for many in the industry.We also had a strong sustainability programme (called the 'New Zealand Packaging Accord'), and during my seven year tenure I helped deliver a 26% increase in New Zealand’s packaging recycling rates through concerted multi-channel media campaigns (including print media, and many radio and television interviews - both live and recorded).
