My career spans over 30 years in Information Technology; for the past 13 years as a Project Manager. I have excellent leadership skills that enable teams to work together in challenging environments. I maintain excellent written and oral communication skills.I’ve fulfilled most roles within the Software Development Life Cycle and managed projects utilising a variety of methodologies. I was instrumental in developing the Project Management capability within Westpac Technology and in recent years I’ve been using agile principles with successful outcomes.I’ve managed projects covering areas as diverse as web based application systems, technology infrastructure projects (hardware and networks), application system upgrades, new application system installations and technology lifecycle management.My variety of roles and length of engagement (5+ years in contract positions) demonstrates my ability to easily integrate into different organisations and consistently deliver to expectations. Since 2010 I’ve been at the ANZ Bank working on a number of application system and infrastructure upgrades, replacements and decommissions - firstly on the successful $240m NZ Simplification project to merge the ANZ and National Bank computer systems, and most recently within the ANZ Contact Centre.
