The new role is responsible for the process evaluation, testing and implementation of strategic as well as BAU Business Process Solutions with key business partners, through a 'pool' team of process modelers that will enable business areas to function more effectively, manage process risk, process improvement and customer service. Responsible for re-engineering and re-designing of business processes to achieve maximum efficiency. Effectively work towards optimal business processes by means of both qualitative and quantitative analyses.Drive the business process re-engineering strategy for Barclays Bank Seychelles functions and set strategic objectives for each key process category to drive improved customer experience across our customer segments.Manage and monitor critical key value drivers (KVDs) related to business processes.Identify key processes for review to transform customer experience.Maintain up-to-date local and global market and industry data on business processes, to aid in advising the business on best processes for adoption.Embed policies and procedures, controls and changes to processes through provision of the appropriate Training, Self Help and Accreditation Tools.

Head of Operations

-To set strategic direction for the function and create an enabling environment from a people risk, cost and service perspective.-To lead the in-country Operations, and Treasury Operations unit developing an integrated function that supports the in-country COO with key capabilities.-To be accountable for the plan and delivery of systems, operations and the general operationg model in-country.-To leverage the advantages of bringing together the operational expertise and drive through more efficient ways of working.-To contribute to the in-country leadership, with dedicated and singular focus on execution, including service and control.-To fully represent the Operations and Treasury Operations function with Functio n Heads and at governance committee as required.

Overall supervision and management of the hotel.

Overall supervision and management of the 5 star 13 rooms and 25 employees’ hotel, including running of the reception, bar, restaurant rooms, kitchen purchasing, maintenance and the garden. To ensure the daily management and smooth running of the hotel with hands on emphasise on customer service, staff welfare and productivity.

March 2004- July 2004-Operations Manager- Seychelles Hotel Tourism Training Centre (SHTTC), La Misere.Outline Responsibilities. Supervision and management of the hostel at SHTTC and all staff members directly under me including Maintenance, Accounts, Gardner, Head of Security, Drivers, Asst Housekeeper, Purchasing Officer, Storekeeper, Laundry Operators and Chambermaids.

March 1999- March 2004- Assistant Food & Beverage Manager- Coral Stand HotelCoral Strand Hotel is a 3 star with 150 rooms.Outline Responsibilities. Responsible for the proper running of 2 kitchens and two restaurants with 50 staff and ensure the promotion of customer service throughout all the outlets. My role was also to coordinate private functions and meetings received by the hotel and performed duty managers work diligently.
