As a Finance major at the Kelley School of Business, I prioritize myself on being a leader, a kind-hearted individual, and analytically sound. Leader: Throughout my young life being a leader has been second nature for me. I have been a part of many leadership councils and a team captain throughout my time in high school. With being a leader I put my team before myself and always listen to inputs and strategies so everyone has an equal playing field and equal opportunity for success.Analytical: Numbers have always been my forte. From a young age, I was very into numbers and sequences and I have been familiar with financial numbers and sequences through running budgets for a judicial campaign and implementing chart codes to covering 19 protocols in a dental office. Two very different sites of work but through numbers and financials, they were made very simple to me because numbers will always continue to fascinate me and seek my interest. Kind-Hearted: Growing up with a generous mother and father I always learned generosity and love are important to be towards others. I am compassionate for others in times of need and trouble and approach every scenario with love and kindness. Times of trouble have been prevalent for many people across the world recently and taking the approach of kindness, compassion, and care towards others will always solidify me as a helping and understanding person.My journey and passion for finance are only beginning and I hope through future internships and the curriculum of Kelley School of Business I can continue to grow my knowledge in the field and expand on my qualities of being a leader, being kind-hearted, and being analytical.
