Part of Lead Engineering Team for Technical Services along with 2 other Leads reporting directly to Engineering Manager (includes covering for Manager at times):-Initiating process for Tech Services Engineers to follow throughout site (i.e. RLMU procedures, RFI procedures etc.)-Liaising with Client Engineering Team and Management for weekly progress meetings and resolving technical issues -Allocating work to engineering team in Train 1 including identifying priority work required to completing critical subsystems -Liaising and providing technical support with E&I Construction, EEHA, Pre Comm and Completion teams to resolve technical issues and prepare for subsystem handover

Gorgan Project - LNG Gas Plant-Providing technical services to construction and commissioning-Field engineer working in the utilities area of the Gorgan Gas Plant-Carrying out Request for Information (design changes) required on site-Carrying out Field Instructions and Site Instructions to allow works outside of scope to be carried out on site-Liasing with client site engineers (Kellogs Joint Venture)-Working towards timeline 1 (first fire) and timeline 2 (domestic gas) deadlines-Reviewing technical integrity of red line mark ups-Working with pre comms to assist with the turn over of systems from construction to commissioning

-Fault levels - manual (hand calcs) and software (ETAP).-Grading studies for protection relays - earth fault and overcurrent.-Mark ups of schematics (ac and dc protection drawings in particular).-Setting relay logic and relay settings files.-Carrying out calculation documents for relay logic to supprot setting files.-Earth grid resistance reviews (including carrying out measurements on site)-Arc flash calculations-Voltage regulation studies - study to install harmonic filter at a Gold Mine site

Power Plant Team (Design and Site)Site engineer on Aghada CCGT 430MW Generating Station -Reviewing and carrying out walk downs for Turn Over Packages (TOP’s) including identifying punchlist items on systems before system turned over from construction phase to commissioning and witness testing and commissioning on systems-SAFETY REVIEW: Carried out review of all MV and LV switchgear and black box items on site with ESB Power Generation (ESB PG) (Owner) and Alstom (EPC Contractor) -Preparation of Generator Step Up Transformer (GSUT) for Backfeed including inspections of entire Insulated Phase Busbar (IPB) system and witnessing installation of transformer/IPB links -Interface commissioning between station and HV switchyard including testing of inter-trips and interlocks-Inter-tripping and interlocking tests on MV and LV switchgearExisting 52MW Peaking Generating Station removed from Aghada Generating Station Co. Cork and reinstalled at Tawnaghmore Generating Station Co. Mayo.
