I am a motion graphics director with over 20+ years of design experience.I started my career by being head hunted, moving from London and working as a graphic designer in Oslo, Norway, which was an invaluable experience. I gained a huge amount of design knowledge and also learnt Norwegian. I moved back to London and started working at MTV UK as a motion graphic designer creating a wide variety of campaigns, including launching new channel redesigns (MTV UK, MTV Base), promotional material and a large array of special events. This position was fantastic and solidified my passion for moving image work and the variety available. Having moved on from there, I began working independently to further build a reputation of working with companies and individuals needing the passion, skills and creativity I have worked hard to craft.From then until now I have collaborated with a wide range of studios (Empire Design, 4 Creative, Lambie-Nairn, etc), companies (TIGI International, BBC, Channel 4, E4, BAFTA, 4 Creative, ITN, Discovery Channel, Scripps Network, ESPN, ABPI, Nickelodeon) and also a wealth of independent studios and individuals helping them make their mark in the film, TV and commercial space.I have experience of leading diverse teams. At Discovery Channel I was brought onboard to oversee the design department and at Empire Design I was overseeing their motion graphics department to help broad their motion graphics output.Specialties include:• Direction, design, and production of motion graphics for broadcast, film and a variety of large- scale stage screens as well as smaller media environments like mobile / web• Development of concepts from idea to implementation• Managing varied types of people within design teams• Understanding of audio production• People and presentation skills
