His own personal experiences have helped him truly understand the importance of the work we are doing at UCP. Paul's passion for people with disabilities is infectious yet not abrasive, and I believe he did a great job of convincing others to believe in UCP as much as he does. I think UCP has one of the best Junior Boards in Birmingham, not only because of their successes, but also for their ability to keep the experience fun and enjoyable, which reduces volunteer burn out, but also invites and retains consistent volunteers who are willing to take responsibility for their commitment to UCP and provide vital support. I am confident that Paul's influence on the Junior Board in 2012 helped to set precedence and momentum for a successful partnership between the Junior Board and UCP for years to come.
