Rehired to act as a subject matter expert on behalf of the Treasury Operations Department to work with the Bank’s Project Managers and Group IT to deliver a backlog of project activities.• Worked closely with the Treasury Operations management team to fix, enhance and improve processes and provide testing support.• Managed the end-to-end testing of a new digital banking application which provided the Bank’s clients with the ability to enter and authorise UK domestic and international payments including SWIFT, CHAPS and Faster Payments. • Led all testing activities for the implementation of a new Treasury Back Office system. This included capturing the test scripts and tracking the testing status to ensure that timelines were maintained. • Managed the testing and deployment of a new payment module into the bank’s core banking system to automate the posting of inward MT103 customer payments. • Worked closely with Group Operations on the Swift ISO 2022 standards change which moves message formatting from the legacy MT format to new MX. Managed the incremental testing to ensure that the message ‘convertor’ produced expected results.• Worked with the local project manager and Group IT on the implementation of the Confirmation of Payment (CoP) service which aims to help reduce misdirected payments for UK domestic payments. • Managed and delivered testing activities for release management and new functionality across all core systems ensuring test environments were prepared and available.
