About Paul Gray

I have been involved in the painting business since 1987. I started as a painter, ran a College Pro Painter Franchise for three summers (1989-1991) and bought a CertaPro Painter Franchise in 1992. I owned the Franchise until 2000. In 2001, I sold the franchise to another Franchisee, Dave Moura, and went to work for him as an estimator/salesman. After three seasons, Dave sold the business and I worked for the new owner for almost 4 more years until October of 2007. I took some time off and worked on my own painting projects and then went to work for another Franchise Painting Company called Protect Painters for 6 months. In August of 2008, I returned to CertaPro Painters and Dave Moura in a role as a commercial account executive. I developed and managed commercial painting accounts in Connecticut and Rhode Island. I worked in that position until early December of 2009. At that time, I decided to come back to CertaPro Painters of Eastern CT.In 2016, I became the Commercial Sales Associate for the company. The companies name also changed from CertaPro Painters of Eastern CT to CertaPro Painters of Mystic-Glastonbury. I handled the sales from start to finish. I decided to join re:fab this year as project estimator working with a great team. We look to become a commercial painting force in New England. Our focus will be municipal jobs, education, health facilities, commercial properties, apartments and condominiums. I feel there is no job too big for us. Specialties: Commercial estimating, paint product knowledge, paint failure identification, customer service, negotiation, warranty inspection, interior & exterior painting knowledge
