Mr. Hickey is an accomplished real estate development professional with more than 25 years of experience. He has a strong background in the oversight and management of real estate development projects from financial feasibility analysis through design, lease negotiations, permitting / entitlements, financing, construction, turnover and/or disposition. His particular experience includes the evaluation and development of complex, multi-phase, mixed-use projects with various building types. Mr. Hickey has worked on the some of the largest, most exciting and high quality real estate development projects and with some of the best real estate developers in this city and around the country. While with Forest City Development he was senior development manager for University Park in Cambridge, one of the first mixed-use biotech research parks in the country, as well as for projects in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Chicago. While at the Fallon Company he was vice president of development focused on the first phase of development of Fan Pier, the mixed-use project being developed by Joe Fallon in the Seaport area of Boston. While running his own consulting practice he counted as clients such prestigious firms as MIT Investment Management Company, Taurus Investments, The Fallon Company and others. Earlier in his career, he even worked as part of the owner's rep / construction management team on the design and construction of the spectacular Federal Courthouse on Fan Pier. Recently, Mr. Hickey worked with Starwood Capital Group on a different, but equally impressive project redeveloping a former Navy air base on the south shore called SouthField - 2,800 residential units, 2 M square feet of commercial and retail space, golf course. All truly great projects. Mr. Hickey holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cornell University and a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration and Management from the Harvard University Extension School.
