Supporting a portfolio of GHD Business Groups in NSW, ACT, Victoria, Tasmania & South Australia with end-to-end Talent Acquisition services. The Business groups I work with deliver professional services predominately in Water, Environment, Ecology, Structures, Urban Design & Planning.

I work across Hydro Tasmania's 3 brands (Hydro, Entura, Momentum Energy) and across all business areas, giving me very broad generalist recruitment experience ranging from entry level to mid-senior positions. Key Responsibilities• Taking job briefs to from hiring managers to understand their requirements, advise them on the talent market and recommend best approach for sourcing the vacant position • Writing and posting engaging and interesting job ads that focus on required skills, and helping candidates visualising themselves in the role, selling EVP• Proactive sourcing in Linked In Recruiter and Seek Talent search based on key word search criteria, contacting prospects, to learn about their suitability and gaining interest from them• Phone interviewing to measure against selection criteria and behavioural competencies• Recommending candidates via a shortlist based on suitability of skillset and cultural fit• Arranging background checks, including reference checks, working rights, police check and other assessment tools• Building interview guides using templates (using Korn Ferry success profiles) and defined behavioural competency framework • Conducting interviews where required and supporting managers with interview best practice• Drafting contracts and managing offer approval process.• Making verbal and formal offers to successful candidates, along with providing verbal feedback to unsuccessful interviewees• Lead for bulk recruitment intakes for Momentum Energy contact centre, including planning & scheduling of timeline and events, supporting development of assessment criteria & tools, facilitating group interview sessions, supporting managers with candidate selection. Also supporting the Hydro Tasmania graduate program with similar activities.

Managed a team of 10-12 frontline consultants who specialise in servicing Momentum’s customers seeking new electricity connections and who are installing small scale renewable energy systems (mainly solar). Their key responsibilities are with seeing through these processes through liaison with electrical contractors and renewable energy installers.
