 Supported a Cisco based, fully meshed ATM network with six core sites and several hundred remote frame relay / X.25 sites.  Evaluated frame relay DLCI mappings, LMI status and traffic shaping parameters using status / debug information. Examined IP NAT/PAT configurations, and troubleshot translation problems at remote access points. Assessed ISDN / analog dial access faults and provide solutions by examining dialer profile information, PPP parameters, terminal adapter configurations and physical line characteristics. Developed chat scripts to automatically configure remote access modems and ISDN terminal adapters. Administered access-lists to restrict unauthorized access to network services and revise lists as necessary. Analyzed X.25 SVC/PVC configurations and provided technical resolutions using DNIC information, clear / diagnostic codes and statistical information. Used LAN analysis tools, Sniffer and Etherpeek, to capture and analyze application data across VLAN’s. Performed IOS upgrades to Cisco routers and switches to eliminate service impacting “bugs”  Assisted implementation engineers with router and DSU configurations during site installations. Performed statistical analysis using ReflectionX scripts to determine circuit and interface utilization.  Traced networking problems and coordinated testing with service providers for resolutions.
