I’m an ecosystem ecologist with a forest ecology and soil chemistry background. My research has focused on carbon and nutrient dynamics in urban and forest ecosystems, and I’ve also been involved with a variety of forest ecology and silviculture research projects in California and New England. Professionally, I've worked in forest carbon offsets for about ten years, primarily working on domestic projects for compliance markets, although lately doing more international, voluntary market work.
