Over the past 40 years in the Building Industry & Facilities Management at both UNSW and Managing Director of Maher & Smith Plumbing I have gained significant Facilities Management, project management, customer service & leadership skills experience. This experience has allowed me to gain strong knowledge in budgeting, project management, financial management, submission writing, invoicing & approvals while building close relationships with internal & external stakeholders along with effective communication and collaboration skills. WHS/BCA/AS policy interpretation and implementation skills with a strong focus on the client’s needs & requirements. I also have extensive building trades knowledge and many years of hands on experience within the discipline of Building Maintenance, renovations, project management, PC1/2/3 critical infrastructure maintenance, alterations/refurbishments and asset management including planned maintenance protocols & procedures.
