• Trustee and Vice President of an organisation with over 50 Members of staff, 16,000 members and an annual turnover in excess of £1 million.• Member of a trustee board navigating severe financial difficulty ensuring we remained solvent during the pandemic so we could achieve our charitable purpose.• Developed an effective consultation and communications strategy between student groups and staff.• Developed a model, at no extra expense, in order to save recreational sport for more than 750 students when it was going to be cut.• Successfully made the case to the university’s Vice Chancellor and Executive Board to put an unprecedented £450,000 into fully funding Sport during the 2020/21 academic year whilst the Students’ Union financially recovers from the pandemic• Chaired the University Sports Operational Group, working with Union and University management to review Lancaster’s sporting delivery and develop a sustainable delivery strategy for the next 5 years.• Worked with York University on delivering Europe’s biggest university varsity competition in ever changing circumstances - delivering a hybrid event in 2021 of physical and virtual challenges, and a full in person event in Lancaster in 2022.
