In June 2018 RDT was wholly acquired by Philips Healthcare. Following the M&A work, I am currently continuing as Finance Director supporting the Chief Executive, whilst also ensuring that we leverage the best of our partnership with Philips, though jointly leading the integration of RDT into Philips.

Finance Director of RDT, a successful global medical device business designing, manufacturing and selling innovative, compact and highly integrated patient monitors specifically designed to address pre hospital user requirements and the needs of demanding remote land, sea and air applications. My role was to support the CEO both strategically and operationally in growing the business during a substantial growth phase of the business. This included overseeing and developing financial and operational systems to support the growth that the business was experiencing. As FD, I also supported and co-led (with the CEO) M&A activity which ultimately resulted in the acquisition by Philips Healthcare in 2018. We are very proud of this acquisition and are confident that this partnership will help deliver our life-saving solutions to more emergency responders and positively impact more patients around the world.

Deltex Medical is a British medical technology company that has pioneered Oesophageal Doppler Monitoring (ODM) – an innovative approach to fluid management in surgery and critical care.Groups Finance Director 2010 - 2015Oversaw board reporting, investor relations, management of external corporate advisors, finance, accounting, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, production planning, taxation, financial regulatory compliance and cashflow management. This included a number of successful fundraising on the AIM market.US Operations Director 2005 - 2012Oversaw all areas of US Operations including development of sales strategy, management of sales and education team, reimbursement strategy, key opinion leader and healthcare provider engagement. This included in April 2013 the successful award of national coverage for physician reimbursement of the Company’s technology by the US Governments Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. At the time this was the first such reimbursement for anesthetists for over ten years.
