I am a highly self-motivated, ambitious, confident and experienced individual who has been in the Police Service for 30 years. I have enjoyed success at different ranks within neighbourhood policing, leading on effective problem-solving initiatives that matter most to make communities safer. As a Neighbourhood Sergeant, I managed 15 members of staff and am experienced in complex stakeholder management, working closely with community leaders, Councillors and Members of Parliament. During my Police service I have developed skills that I can bring to any role. Exceptional communication skills, extremely calm under pressure, well organised and methodical. I am trained to a very high standard of driving and have, over the years, completed additional training in the areas of public order, firearms and surveillance.
