To ensure that 100% OTIF (Out on Time In Full) is achieved within a strict deadlines.Maintain high Health and Safety standards and that they are always adhered to.Ensure the 4M's are in place,(Methods,Materials,Machinery and Manning) Complete end of shift Production Reports.Investigating Downtime causes, whether it be Machine or Material faults.Responsible for the Efficiency and Quality Control of production within the Printing Presses, Press Hall, Publishing Department and Reel Store.

Set up Printing Press Reelstands to Job specification.Load Reel Stands with correct size and make of paper.Prepare Reels of paper for Automatic splicing.Check reels for damage or defects that could cause Press downtime.Unload reels from Reel Stands and return back to Reel Store.

Load and Unload Reels from Transport to Reel Store.Supply Press Hall with correct Reel sizes and make.Return defect Reels to Quarantine.Remove Reel Ends from Press Hall to go for recycling.Empty Compactors to be sent for recycling.
