The mandate reduced the GoK shareholdings to 50 plus 1% and allowed KPLC to access more debt funding.• Team leader of Centum Investments 5-yr Corporate bond of Kshs.6 bn, oversubscribed by 38% attracting bids of Kshs.8.3 bn. It was made up of fixed-rate component (57%) and equity-linked portion (43%) that gives a variable rate determined by its net asset value.• Team leader of Britaam Corporate Bond that raised Kshs.6.0 bn (US$70 mn) in 2014, which was oversubscribed by 125%.• Participated in the first historic issue of the Republic of Kenya International Sovereign Debt (Eurobond) as a Co-Manager that raised US$2.0 bn in June 2014 with tap option of US$750 mn. The issue was significantly oversubscribed by 375% with bids in excess of US$9.5 bn.• Team leader of I&M Bank Tier II Bond Issue that raised Kshs.3.7 billion (US$44 mn) in 2013.• Team Leader of the reverse acquisition between City Trust Ltd-CTL, a listed company at the NSE and I&M Bank Ltd, CTL changed its name to I&M Holdings Ltd. The reverse take-over led to listing of a new entity on the Main Investment Market Segment (MIMS) with 392 million shares in 2013.• Team leader in the transaction advisory of the Government of Kenya Isolated Power Stations of thermal, wind and solar spread across in the remote part of Kenya. • Team Leader of Shelter Afrique Bond Issue that raised Kshs.2.5 bn (US$25 mn) in 2011.
