Global Solution Consultant
CurrentGlobal Solution Consultant (GSC) is focused on driving the Global Accounts solution strategy and aligning the customer’s business needs and outcomes with our solutions and offerings. The GSC role is a high impact, very visible role responsible for ensuring pervasive enterprise adoption of VMware software and solutions, and closing enterprise transactions within a small number of globally dominant companies.The GSC collaborates very closely with their aligned account sales rep, the Global Accounts Manager (GAM). In addition, they will work very closely with Internal Sales Rep (iGAM) and various downstream and virtual teams, including pre-sales specialists, professional services and the products business units. The role has a high percentage of customer-facing time and requires full understanding and intimacy of the customer’s business and IT initiatives & objectives and building solutions based on VMware’s and the wider federation offerings. Supporting our customers in driving their transformational agenda and helping them remain innovative and competitive is a primary goal. Building trusted and influential relationships across and upwards of the customer’s stakeholder base is critical. The role includes working closely with CIOs and other senior executives on strategic approaches and business outcomes.
