I first acted in the purchase of a healthcare business in February 1972 and, after that, throughout my career have been a constant adviser in the healthcare business sector.I have practised as a solicitor in full time practice in the United Kingdom since 1972 and throughout that period have advised on health and special education social care issues and cases, advising providers, regulators, developers and financiers of private health and social care services.I have written two legal text books on practice in relation to health and social care and have devised and delivered a university degree standard educational course for the training of health and social care regulators, as well as lecturing widely on the financing management and regulation of health and special education social care businesses.I specialise in crisis management in health and special education social care services, advising on operational and regulatory issues in the acquisition and disposal of health and special education social care businesses.I have practised through a period where health and social care has developed from a small cottage industry dominated by individual professionals to a time when businesses are owned and managed by global investors and sophisticated executives.
