Paul is an experienced professional who specialises and leads on both elite and community Sports and Leisure Facilities. He is responsible for managing teams on various public and private sector projects around the UK. His degree in Project Management and Civil Engineering included modules on Risk Management, Highway Engineering and Commercial Management and he continues to use his professional experience and knowledge in all aspects of any project.Having previously led the redevelopment of the Alexander Stadium for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, and supporting and providing senior leadership to a team who worked on the temporary seating at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre and the Mountain Bike Trails at Cannock Chase, Paul is currently responsible for the delivery of Sport and Leisure projects at Ridge.Paul has delivered numerous sport stadiums, swimming pools, leisure complexes, arenas and community facilities, gaining extensive experience in the industry, working on a number of projects with tight timescales and budgets. Paul has worked closely with a number of leisure operators to understand how they function on a daily basis, ensuring that each leisure centre built is designed with the operation in mind. Paul has developed strong links and relationships with funding bodies, and in particular works on a day to day basis with Sport England.He also has experience working on a number of residential and public buildings including social housing, market halls and public realm schemes.
