• Conduct production permitting reviews which requires meeting and interacting with the District’s consulting Hydrogeologist as well as permittee representatives such as Cities, water suppliers, agriculture producers and industries.• Administer the District’s water level monitoring network and provide quality assurance on the data• Generate production and water level reports for the Board of Directors• Present educational programs to local associations, service organizations, etc.• Assist with administering the District’s geodatabases• Assist with the enforcement of District rules and regulations• Provide support to Field Technicians• On occasion, fill-in for Field Technicians for duties such as performing well inspections, water level measurements, etc.

Project Manager for the district’s Groundwater Interactive Map http://map.northplainsgcd.org/. The Groundwater Interactive Map connects the public to information regarding the groundwater resources. Information include: depth to water, yearly declines, saturated thickness, well information, aquifers boundaries and water level monitoring. Task include:o Full integration of the continuous water level monitoring network through the use of satellite and cellular networks. The monitoring network consist of 46 wells over 8 counties.o Data processing and database managemento Website design and developmento Integration of multiple SQL and geodatabases into one web interfacePerformed power plant efficiency tests for electric and natural gas pumping systems. The power plant efficiency test is conducted for USDA-NRCS’s Environmental Quality Incentives Program funding for variable frequency drives and are used to determine cost and energy savings. o Data collected includes: flow rate, pressure, pumping level, motor speed, voltage, current, power and frequency.o Calculated pumping efficiency, overall system efficiency, operation cost and pumping head.Planning and development for the North Plains Water Conservation Center, an agricultural demonstration facility funded by the district.o Purchasing and coordinating the installation of new irrigation and farming equipment.o Coordinating and monitoring remodel of the facilities. o Installation of an automation system for a subsurface drip irrigation system.File reports, budget review, collected and review data for the district’s on-farm demonstration projects.o Contract review for Texas Water Development Board’s Agricultural Conservation Grants and USDA-NRCS Conservation Innovation Grant.
