Valley Health Systems employs 1,300 and has $165M in annual net operating revenue. Promoted to dual role. Directed all aspects of corporate finance for health system while retaining duties as CFO of Holyoke Medical Center. Oversaw accounting, payroll, departmental budgeting and reimbursement functions; prepared IRS form 990s, 990t, and Commonwealth of Massachusetts state filing; and presented monthly financial reporting package to Finance Committee and Board of Directors. Recruited to lead finance division for struggling, full-service community hospital ($138M annual net operating revenue and 1,000 FTEs). Prepared annual operating budget, ensured accuracy of all financial statements, managed state grants. Oversaw accounting, payroll, patient financial services, reimbursement, patient access, managed care contracting, health information management, revenue integrity, care transitions and materials management. Led eight senior leaders, with oversight for 150 FTEs.
