Aguila Group Limited (AGL) is a Supply Chain/Contracts & Procurement consultancy, providing professional and experienced services to International Oil & Gas (O&G) companies and contractors as well as local companies in the Tanzanian market. We provide services to those already in the O&G market and those who wish to enter this market. We are based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and have extensive experience and local expertise. AGL is a majority owned Tanzanian registered company with staff experience of nearly 40 years’ in the Oil & Gas Industry and over 9 years’ experience working on major O&G projects in Tanzania and East Africa. We provide IOC/O&G Supply Chain/Contracts & Procurement advice; Business Registration, Work Permit, and Residency Permit services; as well as partnering services for Local Content initiatives in Tanzania. As the director of communication, my duties are to create positive and sustainable relations with stakeholders in the O&G industry in Tanzania, strategically drive communication and public relations to grow the AGL clientele, represent the company at high level meetings locally and internationally, oversee company projects, branding and positioning and all matters pertaining to the group’s image and CSR.

The Rio Paul fashion brand was founded in 2008 and officially trademarked in 2013 and became a company limited in 2014. The company is youth led with talented creatives that aim to provide services in the lifestyle industry ranging from personal shopping on luxury and retail goods in fashion and apparel, accessories, image consultancy, fashion design, event management, public relations and marketing. My role as the founder and director of the Rio Paul Company Limited is to lead the company to the right direction while contributing to the company’s growth through strategic focus on development and sustainability.

Appointed to the board of Africa Youth Transformation, a youth led organisation, non-partisan, not for profit organisation (NGO) that was founded in the year 2018 and officially registered by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender and Children on July of 2019 to work as NonGovernmental Organisation; focusing on promoting economic and social justice, peace, as well as improve access to education and health care in order to alleviate poverty. Africa Youth Transformation focuses on advancing youth through development initiatives.The Organisation was formed to fill a gap in the economic sector and geographic needs for future monitoring, prediction, planning and providing informative resources to the community, to educate the community through sensitisation programs such as conserving the environment, to improve accessibility to healthcare services through advocating for quality in health care facilities and equipments in the community, to conduct peace building forums, carry out peace mediation, talks and reconciliation between communities, and to facilitate economic empowerment projects for citizens to alleviate poverty.Over the years, the organisation has been actively engaging and partnering with other youth CSOs regionally and nationally to build momentum, gain experience, and establish relations with the development sector in Tanzania. My work on the organisation's board is centred on advisory, training and strategically strengthening the organisations work with young people on priority areas that align with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Morocco

Appointed to the board of the Global Diplomats Organisation whereby my duties encompass advisory on growing the organisation through strategic planning, lobbying and stakeholder engagement also in addition, bringing the youth of Eastern and Southern Africa closer to the organisation. Global Diplomats is the largest youth diplomatic training non-governmental organization in the African Continent. The organization provides an international platform for trainings based throughout the Kingdom of Morocco and abroad via academic simulations of the United Nations, NATO, the European Union and the African Union to educate youths about global issues and to provide them with a broader understanding on international relations. The organization also offers collaborative programs in coalition with other organizations such as a training program in partnership with the International Council for Diplomacy.

Tanzania

Fashion Association of Tanzania (FAT) is a not-for-profit body that aims to further the interests of Tanzania fashion industry by harnessing and sharing collective knowledge, experience and resources of the sector. The association intends to develop the Tanzania fashion industry in conjunction with its constituent stakeholders. The association is under the patronage of the Tanzania National Art Council (BASATA) through its Director of Arts Promotion and Marketing Mrs Vivian Shalua. The association provides a platform to Tanzanians in the fashion industry to effective yield positive outcomes on fashion SMEs, address regulatory matters that affect its members, and to encourage and engage members in beneficial programs that uplift the fashion industry as whole. My role as board member at FAT, is keenly focused on advisory and consultancy to help young Tanzanians in fashion grow their businesses through the opportunities presented by the association.

Fostering Tanzania - Seychelles friendly ties under the Honorary Consul of the Republic Seychelles in the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Maryvonne Pool. As Chief of Staff for the Honorary Consul and as the Executive Secretary for the Consul's “Not for Profit” Organisation (The African Reflections Foundation). My duties entail; dealing with consular matters, receiving Note Verbale and responding with the input of the Consul; discussion and planning of reports for Seychelles with the consul; representing the Consul whenever and wherever needed; liaising with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Seychelles and Tanzania on consular matters; assisting the Consul on the Honorary Consuls Committee and the entire Consuls group in Tanzania; arranging meetings and events on behalf of the Consulate; working hand in hand with the Consul on various bilateral agendas and engagement such as the Blue Economy, Climate Change and the Enviroment sectors between Seychelles and Tanzania; and last but not least, transmitting important information from Seychelles to the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Seychelles in Tanzania. Additionally I am responsible for overseeing the Honorary Consul's NGO as Executive Secretary for the African Reflections Foundation (ARF), a Not for Profit organisation striving to achieve sustainable development in rural areas, mostly focusing on improving access to quality education, affordable clean and safe water, promoting women economic empowerment, services delivery in health care and facility improvement and promoting rural development through agricultural led small and medium enterprises development. My role in the NGO, briefly entails; Working closely with the founder and board to fulfil the organisation's vision and growth.

Tanzania

Appointed to the board of the African Reflection Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to fighting poverty and uplifting the people of Tanzania through social economic transformation with key focuses on rural communities. Since its inception in 2005, the foundation aims to ultimately enable people through agricultural poverty alleviation programs, promote better health, support youth education, facilitate clean water and sanitation, advance livelihood initiatives and conserve the environment. Having also served as the organisation's executive secretary prior, my current role on the organisational board entails bringing young people closer to the ARF, amplifying the organisations key messages to young people, stakeholder liaison and youth mobilisation for the ARF and overall advisory on public relations, strategy and the implementation of the ARF initiatives.

As a bachelor degree student from the Centre for Foreign Relations, I was accepted for field work experience at the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles in the United Republic of Tanzania. I was attached to the consulate’s core department, the Communication and Public Relations department whereby I was the Honorary Consul’s personal secretary. My duties entailed, communication and education to the public on a daily basis on Seychelles related matters and activities such as writing and reviewing letters and documents, mailing educational material and maintaining positive relations with the stakeholders, representation of Seychelles at meetings and events such as diplomatic corps meetings, governmental events, conferences, governmental and private receptions and other formal gatherings. My duties also included media management, Strategic planning and organising of events to commemorate Seychellois national days, to monitor information and keep Seychelles and Tanzania linked on various policies, trade and commercial opportunities.

As a diploma student from the Centre for Foreign Relations, I was placed for field work experience at the National Museum and House of Culture Tanzania, I was attached to the department of education. My role was to oversee the educational programs for guests and students as they interact with museum collections, I was in charge of assisting students on their special projects on topics related to the national museum and cultural heritage, my other roles were to organise outreach services in collaboration with schools and the general public through exhibitions and distributionof learning material, offering consultancy on providing information, data and materials on Tanzania’s heritage to both domestic and foreign researchers. I also assisted in the museum’s communication department whereby I was tasked with data and inventory, guest liaison and museum events management.
