I began my legal career in Canberra working in commercial law and litigation after a period in the public service and in an industry lobby group. Following a move to Sydney to specialise in employment law and industrial relations, I returned to Canberra to continue working in commercial fields as well as personal injury.A regional change in 2003 enabled a move to Muswellbrook, where I became a partner in Curtis Gant Irving servicing a broad range of personal needs of clients including family law, crime, conveyancing, leasing, probate, wills and estate law.Between 2011 and 2014 I was Special Counsel at a medium sized commercial and litigation practice in Canberra .In early 2015 I commenced working at Legal Aid ACT. I am currently the Team Leader of the Civil Law Division. I have the responsibility for the oversight of a varied and diverse practice ranging from employment law, discrimination and human rights, mental health and guardianship, residential tenancy advice and appellate work in the AAT. I also am engaged with the implementation and continued operation of outreach programs for the ATSI community.I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds. I hope my clients benefit from my down-to-earth style and my focus on translating complex legal matters for their understanding
