Responsible for providing regulatory network cost analysis (NCA). This includes providing account separation bases and cost evaluations that help produce the regulatory accounts and that satisfies external auditors that all data sources and outputs are updated appropriately in line with agreed methodologies. As well as responding to internal customers and OFCOM on various adhoc costing queries.

I worked on the forecasting and budgeting team for Openreach, delivering timely, complete & meaningful forecast submissions whilst ensuring adherence to divisional and group timescales. I was responsible for producing & maintaining the business unit forecast templates, ensuring they include all the financial & non-financial information needed to support the Openreach submission to group and provide a full understanding of the plan. These templates then fed into the consolidation model whose output was fed into both the local planning cubes and group systems so that the Openreach and group planning systems reflect the latest view of the Openreach and business unit targets.My role required me to provide expert modelling and data analysis, provide insightful analysis and comment to facilitate senior management understanding of the pertinent issues as an aid to informed decision making for executive meetings, and business reviews. It was therefore important that I build strong working relationships with the business units and finance communities within Openreach.

I worked on billing activities within operations, which included the production of a product launch process for both BT Openworld and Ignite products. The process pulled together various organisations within BT such as billing, helpdesks and order management to ensure that new products were registered and implemented in a professional way.I mapped the service surround for seven of the major products within Ignite and BT Openworld. This work looked at areas such as helpdesk support, account creation and cessation. It involved producing process diagrams along with descriptive text of the various interactions. Recommendations for improvement were made where necessary.Within Operations I produced daily, weekly and monthly statistical performance reports on the quality of service provided by Ignite including information on service availability, churn, installation duration’s, cost and customer complaints. I then use this information to identify areas of service degradation within the operational environment and put corrective actions in place.Other work included financial reporting and producing cost models for the helpdesks, server farms. Working with an external organisation to produce customer satisfaction surveys for the helpdesk. Producing self-billing invoices as well as building and launching a web based operations library along with its corresponding process.
