Responsible for day to day management of all Operations within the Hampshire Integrated Waste Management Contract for Hampshire County Council.Responsible for 6 Line Managers and 300 Operation Staff and their performance, training, recruitment and continuous development.Management of Multi Site Infrastructure including 7 x Waste Transfer Stations, 1 x Refuse Derived Fuel Plant, 2 x Material Recovery Plants, 2 x Compost Sites, 1 x Landfill and Fleet of 62 vehicles.Full financial accountability including budget preparation and setting for six business lines and fifteen cost centres.Accountable for all Operational KPI's including costs, productivity and availability.Operational contact for Hampshire County Council-Veolia contract meetings.Responsible for delivery of national and regional business strategy.Accountable for all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment strategy.Contributing to Innovation with continuous improvement of site operations and trailer design.Responsible for contract management of third party Incinerator Bottom Ash contract.As a major internal stakeholder acts as operational contact for national procurement initiatives on Bulk Trailers, Mobile Plant, Weighbridges and CCTV.
