SERrey Consulting focuses on all aspects of the management of knowledge from the creation, capture, storage and distribution of knowledge to the audit of the implementation of knowledge. SERrey is operational in every continent of the globe with projects from India to Brasil, from Canada to South Africa.The spectrum of activities includes creation and running of digital educational pathways, creation and running of knowledge and skill simulation seminars/webinars, audits of online educational pathways, creation of debrief modules, audits of medico-surgical processes at a regional, institutional or departmental level...SERrey has a preferential collaboration with Meplis.

The project consists of live or virtual simulation seminars on low fidelity simulators. Three different simulators were designed through wiki contests and further optimized and produced in the Ponap protected workshop in Cz. Three different curricula deconstruct 6 major cardiosurgical procedures and are trained on these simulators. Together they represent 85 percent of adult cardiac surgery.The simulation seminars are repeated and leveraged using encrypted apps made by Meplis, where the scholars (> 4500 annually) repeat the simulations at home, submit regularly videos and picts and receive qualitative and OSATS based quantitative feedback within hours. These assessments are submitted at a rate of 2-3 daily.> 13000 scholars (Europe, Asia, America) in > 800 seminars and 250 webinars worldwide.The project has become a mandatory educational pathway in several large countries through MOU, it is also used to evaluate learning capabilities of surgical candidates.Project is leveraged by J&J.The project won the JJ Burke award 2014 for EMEA, the JJ Burke award 2019 for USA and the JJ Burke award 2019 for GLOBAL in "professional and patient education"The MVS project helped organize the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4 th South East Asia and the 1st and 2nd Asiapac anastomotic contest (audience of 17000+).

We started the KU Leuven OPCAB training ctr in 2000 and organized more than 1000 3-day seminars and webinars, guiding colleague surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses in the daily implementation of OPCAB surgery. The seminars were organized on site or in close to 50 countries and 5 continents worldwide, in close collaboration with the department of Anesthesia KU Leuven.We created websites and applications, in English Russian Spanish French Mandarin Portuguese helping in the distribution of knowledge: CABG-OPCAB application, OPCAB Brasil, OPCAB India....Since 2023 the project is fully digitalized in the MyCVsurgery platform.

In 1997 we had the privilege of meeting Peter Greene (cardiac surgeon and tech guru of J Hopkins), Tom Ferguson (past president AATS and STS) and Bob Replogle (president of STS) and founded CTSNet. This meeting took place in Prague. Cardiac surgeons came together in one single community of >30000 individuals to optimise distribution of knowledge.
