I am an admitted Attorney and Notary, who graduated from the University Of Stellenbosch with the degrees BA LLB in 1992.I immediately took up articles with a prominent law firm specializing in matrimonial law, namely Abe Swersky and Associates where I worked as a professional assistant. Although family law remains a passion I became increasingly involved in commercial law and specifically litigation.In 1997 I took partnership at Lionel Murray Schwormstedt and Louw Attorneys, involved in family law, commercial litigation and once there I developed a practice increasingly focused on consumer legislation, with special emphasis on the National Credit Act, the new Companies Act and the Consumer Protection Act all three areas being related.I now operate a concierge type law practice from the Durbanville wine lands dealing with all manner of commercial and family law matters.During my career I have also developed a network of relationships with subject matter experts such as corporate coaches (who assist with all human resources requirements),recruitment specialists and IT companies specializing in financial software products for the medium sized enterprise. It is with this backing that I am well positioned to assist all clients from the individual to corporates in a variety of ways .

I was the partner responsible for all aspects of litigation at Lionel Murray, Schwormstedt and Louw. I was also responsible for staff matters and the human resources management of the partnership. My practice and experience expanded to the extent that I have experience in most legal disciplines save for patents and trade marks I do have extensive experience in the field of the National Credit Act and specifically in the field of Debt Counselling and Debt Review.I acted for Octogen (Pty) Ltd, a major debt counselling firm having a national footprint with various branches.I have also lectured at the University Of Cape Town..
