Desk side support

I support the Research and Developement group at Waters. This includes installing and configuring their applications such as SAP, UniGraphics and SolidWorks. I also troubleshoot normal pc issues that come up. All work is performed at the customer's desk or in the IT Lab.

I provided hardware and software support for a mainly HP and MAC desktopsand laptops.This support extends to applications and printing issues on these computers. I participated in moves, adds and changes. I provided application support for Office 2011 including Outlook and Access.I supported Lotus Notes running on Windows XP and Macs.I provided troubleshooting for network, VPN, remote connectivity, phone andblackberry issues.

I provided hardware/software desktop/telephone support for end users using acombination of remote access tools and desk side assistance. I provided support for field and sales staff connecting remotely via VPN. I provided support for Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook and Access.Built and configured new desktops and laptops. Reset passwords using Active Directory. Also added users to groups withinActive Directory.

I participated in Windows 2000/XP migrations; and Mintz Levin law office in Boston. At Pfizer and Biogen I also provided next day support for migrated platforms.I was responsible

BiogenIdec. This included application support for Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook and Access. I was also responsible for desktop, laptop and HP printer repairs.I provided support for remote users hardware and software.

I was responsible for 100% telephone technical support for Microsoft Office including Microsoft Access, Outlook and Lotus Notes.I provided mentoring to new technicians.I trained new technicians in different aspects of Microsoft Office applications.File Conversion and Imprinting, KAO
