I taught courses on international relations theory and practice, American foreign policy, causes of war, and military institutions, as well as politics and sports. My research interests pertain to the way in which military institutions affect politics domestically and with respect to international relations. My responsibilities in this regard included coordinating the Political Science Department's undergraduate curriculum, including majors in both Political Science and International and Global Studies, assessing student learning for both of these programs, and conducting departmental orientations as well as student advising.
