Deployment Manager of projects to establish regional Accounting Hubs in the Asia Pacific and Europe regions. Both projects involved the identification and fit-out of suitable office locations in Kuala Lumpur and Budapest respectively, recruitment campaigns to source onsite and remote hybrid resources, the development and execution of knowledge transfer plans and significant change management initiatives to address the transfer and standardization of accounting processes in the accounting hubs. Both hubs are operating on Oracle Fusion Finance ERP platforms.The Asia Pacific hub successfully went live in March 2023 with over 80 FTE in place. The Europe Hub went live in April 2024 with 90 FTE in place.

Deployment Manager for the implementation of an Oracle R12 Finance ERP platform for two countries (Colombia and Peru) of a global organisation. The role involved managing senior regional and country stakeholders, co-ordinating across multiple integration projects of a recent acquisition, ensuring the correct migration of data from three legacy platforms and successfully conducting two large scale test cycles in a fully remote mode due to COVID-19 travel and working restrictions.Go-live was completed on time & to budget in September 2020.

The role involved managing senior Global & Regional stakeholders at both project and global programme Steering Committee levels, working closely with a large consulting/outsource vendor (Deloitte) involving both onshore and offshore teams and ensuring the correct migration of data from five legacy platforms including SAP, Navision and Scala. This required co-ordination of multiple third parties and country SMEs including some significantly change averse groups.Go-live was completed on time & to budget in November 2019 with the deployment covering a revenue of £850m and a 950 user base.

Each deployment required the approval of a business case before it could progress.The role involved managing senior Global & Regional stakeholders, developing & executing a detailed deployment plan including progress checklists/stage gates, working closely with a large consulting/outsource vendor (onshore & offshore) and driving a significant change programme including the implementation of new self-service models.The deployments were as follows:January to October 2016. Deployment of Oracle R12 Finance & HR across two business units (Belgium & Netherlands based) covering a revenue of £530m and a 2,100 user base. The project included the introduction of employee and manager self-service in the general business community.January to October 2017. Deployment of Oracle R12 Finance for two business units across five countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway & Poland). Go-live was completed on time with the deployment covering a revenue of £250m and a 700 user base.January to October 2018. Deployment of Oracle R12 Finance for four business units across eight countries (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania). This required management of a broad change agenda due to the differing cultural and legislative demands across the countries involved and included addressing change resistant senior stakeholders. Go-live was completed on time & to budget in October 2018 with the deployment covering a revenue of £1,010m and a 990 user base.

Cutover Manager for the deployment of a new Finance and HR ERP platform for the UK&I business unit (£3.4bn revenue and 13,000 user base) of a global Supply Chain provider. This involved the deployment of the full Oracle eBS Finance & HR suite of modules (v12.1.3), 12 additional enabling applications and interfaces with over 20 external systems. The role required working with a broad mix of client, 3rd party integrator and management consultancy resources across several functional and technical workstreams. Initial activity focused on the development & agreement of a comprehensive readiness checklist, a detailed cutover plan, a full cutover organisation plus the definition & scheduling of several checkpoint meetings. Cutover execution commenced in December 2014 and involved engagement with UK & global board members plus a broad range of stakeholder groups. This activity ramped up to a 24x7 operating model in mid-January 2015 and culminated in a successful go-live in early February 2015. In addition to the usual project management challenges in the delivery of a large and complex implementation, the role required the recovery of a broken relationship with a key stakeholder group. This was a critical factor in gaining approval to go forward and subsequently execute a successful deployment.

Leader for the development & implementation of a new Rating & Billing platform plus associated processes & organisation for a global service logistics business unit. The programme had a budget of c. £4m and a 12 month build & implementation timescale. Key elements of the role included successful development & presentation of the business case, ownership of the overall solution architecture plus management of the build & deployment of the new platform, processes and organisation model. This included acting as the prime contact for both internal and external stakeholders including board level steering group members and the top five global accounts.The solution involved the typical Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials toolset plus Oracle Advanced Pricing, Order Management and Enterprise Data Quality modules. This was delivered through two major outsource vendors (Oracle & TCS) who were identified through an RFP process run as part of the programme.The solution is now live and early indications are that the original benefit case will be met or exceeded.

Responsible for two 24x7 global platforms and three legacy regional platforms. IT team located in both Europe & APAC geographies providing IT commercialisation, product development and IT service management support. Owner of two major outsource contracts for application management and hosting services.Key achievements included review and complete refresh of IT management team across EMEA & APAC regions, turnaround of failed global application refresh programme, outsource of application management services (AMS) for two global IT platforms and uplift of service levels to market leading standards plus IT cost per unit reduced by 20%.

Lead IT representative with Dept of Health bodies and key accounts.Key achievements included revitalising NHS Supply Chain IT function following initial difficult transition to DHL, implementing new IT platforms to underpin new procurement & business performance functions and stabilization & support uplift programme on legacy platforms.
