Claims Recovery Specialist
CurrentAs a Claims Recovery Specialist within the Recovery Function, working in a close commercial team we are the gatekeepers of missed opportunities across all functions of Hastings Direct to ensure we maximise our opportunities for recovery of AD spend. As part of this role I am also tasked with the upskill of the Team Leaders and Negotiators in terms of Case Law across the Jurisdictions of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland plus any applicable laws on cross border matters i.e Badtiner in France. In addition, upskilling negotiators on how to grow and deal with more contentious claims. These are delivered by workshops, 1-2-1 sessions and communications. Using my Litigation experience I have become a point of contact for our Panel of Solicitors for urgent escalations across the functions of Hastings Direct or decisions on enforcement of County Court Judgments. I maintain my studies in Case Law to ensure that the advices that I provide are accurate and are still relevant in a Post Brexit world and look to complete my SQE in the near future to qualify as a Solicitor.
