About Paula Bernal

As a trained engineer and a scientist, I have a natural curiosity for cellular processes and a desire to use them for the advancement of Global Health. I have a special interest in deciphering signaling pathways and apply them to understanding cellular responses in the context of immune responses and vaccines. Due to my experience teaching and training students, scientists and medical doctors, I have the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals in a professional and level-appropriate manner. Based on my training in cell/molecular biology, flow and mass cytometry, and ample experience in clinical sample management, I am an excellent candidate for a research, industrial or academic setting.
