Working with Stanford Center for Professional Development, I am editing audio and video of online course content using Adobe CC, with occasional motion graphics work in Adobe After Effects.

I worked with the On24 Video Post Production team for over 10 years as an editor of audio, video and motion graphics for webcasts and virtual events. I edited with Adobe Creative Suite, but know how to navigate whatever software tools get the job done. Additionally, I have experience In the studio operating everything from audio board, camera, switcher, and playback devices. Feb 2011 - August 2014 Assistant EditorStarting part-time as an assistant editor in the post production department, I edited audio, screen capture recordings using Camtasia, ingested and archived DV Cam footage, and assisted with various post production & studio tasks as needed before being promoted to an editor position.Dec 2008 - Feb 2011 Audio EditorPrior to starting part-time in Feb 2011, I worked as needed (freelance) editing audio recordings and slide presentations for large events.

As an independent instructor, I taught private one-on-one classes to teens and adults on the subject of computer music production, focusing mainly on electronic music production using Ableton Live. Pro Tools and Logic Audio classes were available upon request.

As the manager of repairs at this start-up music technology company, I was responsible for overseeing the returns and repairs process, troubleshooting and repairing the Receptor - a music computer and synth hybrid, and return shipping the product to the customer. When needed, I also assisted in the production of new units for sale, and refurbishing units for sale as b-stock.

Helped customers resolve technical problems relating to Pro Tools software or hardware, issued RMA and explained technical information relating to computers, recording, digital audio, and MIDI via telephone and email.

Operated audio equipment and mixed sound for live theme shows, including vocalists and instrumentalist. Responsible for audio equipment set-up and care. Some audio editing as needed.

As an audio specialist I assisted customers with custom duplication orders for tape (and CD), assisted the owner/mastering engineer with audio pre-edits and preparing digital media for bin-loop tape duplication or other format transfer, other editing and audio restoration as required. Experience with all formats of audio tape including reel-to-reel, as well as Digital audio formats such as DAT, ADAT, and CD. Prepared labeling, shrink wrap, shipping and packaging as needed.
